This grant has been reinstated for the 2024/25 financial year and grants of up to £3,000 are available, and open to fund projects that will enable businesses to expand their market overseas and into other parts of the UK, this competitive grant is assessed on potential impact. It can cover:
- Exhibition and trade show attendance and related costs
- Transport and accommodation directly related to a business event
- Marketing activities and brand development
- New product development
- Consultancy services

Tay Cities Clean Growth Event | Financial and Investment Readiness
Businesses are invited to take part in the Tay Cities Clean Growth in-person event focusing on financial readiness from the perspective of organisations providing funding. The aim is to:
- Provide an overview of the basics of funding, its main types and players
- Look at the basics of how to find an external funding injection into a business or project.
- Explain the journey and the importance of preparation for this.
- Raise awareness of questions businesses must ask themselves before embarking on funding applications.
- Clarify the terminologies and potential misunderstandings around different investors to debunk myths or fears around the providers in the funding field.
- Look at the main differences between the options and who are they suitable for. (domestic or international options).

Famous Grouse Ideas Centre Introductory Workshops
The Famous Grouse Ideas Centre at Perth Creative Exchange is hosting several introductory workshops for creatives and businesses in Perth & Kinross to learn how the space can help elevate their business.
The space benefits from state-of-the-art equipment, including 3D printing, laser cutting, large format poster printing and UV printing, and a suite of Macs and PCs running Adobe Creative Cloud.

Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers Regional Gathering
Join the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) at Perth Theatre for their first regional gathering of 2024. This event is aimed at businesses & organisations involved in the self-catering sector.
There is a fantastic line-up of speakers for the event, including Tiomóid Foley, VisitScotland Net Zero Manager, and Scott MacLean, Managing Director of Green Tourism. Additionally, ASSC CEO, Fiona Campbell, will provide updates on pertinent topics such as Short-Term Let Licensing and Planning, FHL Abolition, and the Visitor Levy.
The event is free for ASSC members and non-members are welcome to attend for a small fee.
